Dawn A. Kurisu

Dawn Kurisu is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community relations, strategic initiatives, and education. Currently serving as the AVP of Community & Government Relations at HMSA since November 2022, Dawn previously held the position of VP of Strategy and Innovation and Strategic Initiatives Director at Parents And Children Together from July 2017 to November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Special Projects Consultant at Ezuka Law Office and a School Administrator, Chaplain, Curriculum Coordinator, and Teacher at Holy Nativity School from 2003 to 2017. Dawn began a career in hospitality as a Guest Service Representative at Outrigger Hotels & Resorts from 2002 until July 2013. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
