Harriet Gumban

Harriet Gumban has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Harriet started their career at IBM Corporation in 1989, where they held various technical and managerial roles for eight years. In 1997, Harriet joined Heald College as an Instructor for electronics, business, and medical subjects. Harriet later became the Associate Program Director for Healthcare, serving in that role from 2008 to 2015. In 2016, they joined HMSA, where they initially worked as a Supervisor for Provider Services Trainers. Harriet's most recent position at HMSA is as the Provider Engagement Lead, a role they have been in since December 2017.

Harriet Gumban holds a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from American InterContinental University, obtained from 2003 to 2004. Harriet also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the same institution, earned from 2002 to 2003. In addition, Gumban has an Associate's Degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant from Kaplan College, obtained from 2004 to 2007. Harriet also has an Associate's Degree in Business Software Applications from Kaplan College, earned from 1999 to 2002. Moreover, Gumban has two Associate's Degrees from National Technical Schools, one in Electronics Technology and one in Computer Hardware Technology/Technician, both acquired from 1978 to 1979. Harriet completed their high school education at James Campbell High School from 1969 to 1972, focusing on General Studies & Automotive Repair. Gumban also holds certifications, including CPR Healthcare Provider Level BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) and First Aid from HI OSHA Approved, both obtained in March 2014. Additionally, they are a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) since July 2007.
