Jay Furuya

Jay Furuya has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 1988, they worked at TRW Electronics and Technology Division as a Member of Technical Staff until 1990. Jay then joined Kansa Corporation (Japan) as an Installer for the year of 1992. In 1993, they began working at Sprint as a Project Leader and later became a Backhaul Engineer until 1998. In the same year, they also worked at Kapiolani HealthHawaii as a Programmer/Analyst. From 1998 to 2001, Jay Furuya worked as a Software Engineer at Sprint. In 2002, they joined HMSA as a Solution Delivery Manager until 2012 when they became the Director of Information Systems.

Jay Furuya attended UC San Diego from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
