Kimberly Takata is an experienced professional in public health and program management, currently serving as a Program Manager and Business Analyst at HMSA since December 2014. Previously, Kimberly contributed as an Americorp VISTA Member at the Hawaii Department of Health, focusing on the development of the Veteran's Directed Home and Community Based Service program. At the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Kimberly worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in Health Behavior Change Research, and gained experience as a Study Facilitator and Tutor at Oregon State University, where skills in academic support were honed. Additional roles include a Community Health Intern at Healthways and a Summer School Teaching Assistant in the ELL Program at Pearl Harbor Elementary School. Kimberly holds a Master of Public Health degree specializing in Social Behavioral Health Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Oregon State University, along with a distinguished education from Punahou School.
