Rodney Amian

Rodney Amian has over 20 years of experience in web development and user experience design. Rodney started their career at NetIQ Corporation in 2001 as a Front-End Web Developer and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Front-End Web Developer at Ebay, Inc., focusing on PayPal.com. Rodney then joined Proxim Wireless as a Web Developer from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they worked at Superb Internet as a Web Developer. Since 2010, Rodney has been at HMSA, starting as a Web Developer and later becoming the Lead User Experience Designer. In this role, they are responsible for improving the user experience of all consumer-facing web assets, collaborating with product managers and using web analytics and user studies to identify and address user experience issues.

Rodney Amian attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1991 to 1996, majoring in Accounting. In addition, they obtained a Google Ads Search Certification from Google in December 2019 and a UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group in 2016.
