Winston Sakurai, Ed.D. has an extensive background in education, with experience ranging from being a history teacher to serving as a principal and director in various schools and educational organizations. Currently, Sakurai holds the position of State Director of Adult Education at the Hawaii State Department of Education. In addition to their roles in education, Winston has also been involved in leadership positions within associations such as the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the Hawaii Association of Secondary School Administrators. Sakurai earned their Doctor of Education degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has a strong passion for educational leadership and curriculum innovation.
