Liann Unebasami has had a diverse range of work experiences in the banking industry. Liann began their career at Bank of Hawaii, where they held positions such as Bank Associate, Associate Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, and Officer & Branch Manager. During their time at Bank of Hawaii, they developed strong professional relationships with various business units and led initiatives such as "Teach Children to Save Day."
Afterwards, they joined Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, where they served as Branch Manager and later as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Officer. In these roles, they excelled in customer service and business development activities, including underwriting and approving consumer loans. Additionally, they managed all aspects of the commercial loan process, analyzing financial statements and assessing operational risks.
Throughout their career, Liann demonstrated a commitment to professional development, completing credit training and adding value to their organizations.
Liann Unebasami obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Strategic Innovation and Change from the University of Denver from 2018 to 2020. Liann holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Speech from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
