Danielle Irwin began their work experience in 2006 as a Public Relations Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. In 2007, they started their own business, Statement Graphics and Branding, and worked as the Owner and Designer until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Marketing Executive at Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation. In 2013, they became the Co-Owner of Swept Away Island Weddings and Events. In 2015, they joined Koloa Energy Developments as a Managing Partner. Their most recent roles include Director of Strategy and Planning, and currently, Chief Strategy Officer, at Hawai'i Unified, starting in 2017.
Danielle Irwin pursued their Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Literature from Pacific University, studying from 2001 to 2005.
