Taryn Crump has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. In 2012, they started their career as a Sales Associate at EXPRESS and later became a Sales Lead at Tommy Hilfiger. Taryn then took on the role of Floor Supervisor at Tommy Hilfiger, where they were responsible for scheduling, employee management, and training. Taryn also worked as a Customer Advocate at Nexsense, managing customer accounts and coordinating employee schedules.
Taryn later joined Elite Home Security, where they initially worked as a Customer Loyalty Representative before being promoted to Call Center Supervisor. In this role, they supervised the call center floor and collaborated with other teams to provide accurate call center statistics. Taryn then transitioned to Acima Credit, where they held various HR positions, including Lead Processor, HR Specialist, and HR and Recruiting Specialist. Taryn was involved in tasks such as recruiting, employee filing and organization, and managerial support.
In 2017, Taryn joined RWE formally E.ON as a Human Resources Administrator, where they revamped the company's hiring processes and created templates for communication with hires and candidates. Taryn was later promoted to Human Resources Specialist, where they supported the HR Operations Manager in running all back-end HR operations. Lastly, at Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc., Taryn worked as a Human Resources System Analyst, implementing HCM modules and HRIS systems, as well as managing the implementation of employee bonus pay processes.
Currently, Taryn is a Lead Functional Analyst at Hawaiian Electric.
Taryn Crump earned a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts Studies from Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from Salt Lake Community College from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) from different institutions between 2017 and 2019.
