Ian Carpenter

Ian Carpenter is a seasoned cloud architect and broadcast consultant with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions across various media organizations. At Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd, Ian is currently focused on migrating products and services into the cloud. Previous roles include senior positions at Prime Video & Amazon Studios, where Ian defined media workflow solutions and architected resilient systems on AWS. Ian has also served in crucial roles at Tata Consultancy Services, Tyrell, Red Bee Media, and several other companies, specializing in creating high-availability architectures, defining broadcast solutions, and enhancing media workflows using AWS best practices and technologies such as SMPTE-2110 and NMOS. With a background in broadcast systems design and architecture, Ian has contributed significantly to projects involving large-scale media operations and infrastructure upgrades.
