Lou Salza has extensive experience in educational leadership and governance, currently serving as Co-Facilitator for the New Heads Network at the Independent School Association of the Central States Inc. Since June 2019, Lou has also been a Board Member at Hawken School. Previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors at the Cleveland Council of Independent Schools and as Headmaster at Lawrence School, which supports students with learning differences. Lou contributed to educational leadership development as a Group Facilitator and Group Leader at Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Summer Leadership Institute from 2009 to 2019. Additionally, Lou has held positions on the boards of the Ohio Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. Lou earned a Master’s in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in English and Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
