Ariel Drori

Clinical Lead - Gastroenterology Service at Hawke's Bay District Health Board

Ariel Drori, M.D. FRACP has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Currently, Dr. Drori serves as the Clinical Lead for the Gastroenterology Service at Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay since November 2022. Additionally, Dr. Drori holds a position as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist at the same organization since February 2021. Prior to this, Dr. Drori worked as the Medical Director at Neteera from May 2019 to February 2023. Moreover, Dr. Drori was a Senior Gastroenterologist at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem from January 2019 to December 2020 and was also a Fellow in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases from October 2016 to December 2018 at the same institution. Earlier in their career, Dr. Drori served as the Chief Medical Officer at ThoraXS from January 2016 to June 2019. Dr. Drori's professional journey began with roles as an Internal Medicine Resident from March 2013 to August 2016 and as an Internal Medicine Intern from March 2012 to February 2013 at Hadassah University Medical Center.

Ariel Drori, M.D. FRACP completed their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1998, they attended Mae Boyer High School in Jerusalem, Israel, and completed their high school education.

In addition to their education, Dr. Drori has acquired several certifications. In 2013, they obtained the Medical Doctor certification from the Ministry of Health Israel. Continuing their specialization, they obtained the Internal Medicine certification from the same institution in 2016. Following this, in 2019, they received the Gastroenterology certification from the Ministry of Health Israel. Most recently, in 2022, they completed the Vocational Training in Internal Medicine / Gastroenterology from the Medical Council of New Zealand.
