Malcolm Arnold is a Clinical Lead for the National Endoscopy Quality Improvement Programme (NEQIP) since October 2016, focusing on improving the quality and sustainability of endoscopy services in New Zealand. Concurrently, Malcolm serves as a Gastroenterologist and Head of Gastroenterology at the Hawke's Bay District Health Board, a role held since December 2000. Malcolm is also a Board Member of the Crohn's and Colitis Society of New Zealand and the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology. Educational background includes an MB ChB in Medicine from the University of Glasgow, completed between 1979 and 1984, and earlier studies at St Francis Xavier College in Scotland.
