Dr Muthanna AlMahmoud

Dr Muthanna AlMahmoud has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and space industry. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Thales Advanced Solutions as a Senior Communications System Engineer and later as a Technical Project Manager. In 2015, they joined the UAE Space Agency as an Engineering and Design Senior Specialist and eventually became the Head of Space Science and Technology. In 2019, Dr AlMahmoud worked as a Management Consultant before joining HawkEye 360 in 2020. At HawkEye 360, they first served as a Program Manager and later advanced to the position of Senior Program Manager.

Dr Muthanna AlMahmoud earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University, completing their undergraduate education from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Dr Muthanna AlMahmoud has acquired several certifications. Dr Muthanna received a Public Sector Innovation Diploma from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation in 2018. Moreover, they obtained a DELF B2 Certification of French Language Proficiency from the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale in August 2014. Dr AlMahmoud also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification granted by the Project Management Institute in August 2016.
