James G. McAden

James G. McAden has extensive work experience in the fields of defense and international relations. James G. currently serves as the Senior Director of Asia-Pacific Sales at HawkEye 360 since September 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at the United States Department of Defense, including Senior Defense Official/Defense Attache in different locations. James G. also underwent training at the Foreign Service Institute, Joint Forces Staff College, Defense Language Institute-East/Joint Military Attache School, and Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College. Throughout their career, they have held positions such as Director for South and Southeast Asia at the Asia-Pacific Regional Center, DIA, Liaison Officer at the Special Operations Joint Task Force in Afghanistan, Deputy Foreign Policy Advisor, Country Director for Southeast Asia at Pacific Command, and Chief of Training and Foreign Military Sales in the Office of Defense Cooperation. James G. McAden also pursued an MA program at SAIS-John Hopkins and completed internships at the National Security Council Staff and Defense Language Institute-East. James G. began their career in the military as a Platoon Leader and worked their way up to Brigade Assistant S-2/LRSD Commander/Battalion S-2 in the 1-501st Airborne Infantry.

James G. McAden earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Davidson College. James G. then pursued further education and obtained an Advanced Diploma in National Security Policy Studies from the University of Malaya. Finally, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Asian Studies from The Johns Hopkins University.
