Corrine Holke-Farnam

Corrine Holke-Farnam is an experienced educator in English and communication. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the English & Communication Department at Hawkeye Community College since August 2019, Holke-Farnam previously held various positions, including Writing Coach and Writing Instructor at the University of Northern Iowa from 2001 to June 2019. In these roles, Holke-Farnam provided individualized writing support and taught a range of courses such as College Writing and Research, Introduction to Literature, and Technical Writing. Additionally, Holke-Farnam has teaching experience at Hawkeye Community College and high schools, where foundational English topics were covered. Holke-Farnam holds a Master of Arts in English/Creative Writing from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Illinois State University.
