Colleen Mook has a diverse and extensive work experience. Colleen is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at HawkGrips, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at HawkGrips from August 2022 to January 2023.

Colleen has also been actively involved in investing and entrepreneurship. Colleen was an early-stage investor in Action Medical Technologies and a founding member of Third Cohort Capital, a seed-stage venture firm. Through Third Cohort Capital, they invested in high-potential technology and healthcare ventures, including EpiBone.

Colleen is also known for their work as a speaker, podcaster, and small business consultant. Colleen uses their experience as an entrepreneur, connector, and mother of four, including one with special needs, to inspire and motivate others. Colleen achieves this through public speaking engagements, their podcast called Be Bold, Be Brave, Be YOU!, and their consulting practice.

Prior to their current roles, Colleen founded and served as the CEO of Baby Be Hip, an online retailer of personalized baby and toddler gifts. Over a span of 17 years, they successfully grew the business by implementing e-commerce sites, developing in-house operations, executing marketing campaigns, establishing corporate gifting programs, and securing media placements.

Colleen's passion for educating and spreading positivity led their to co-found Sunshine Hope, LLC, a family-operated business focused on teaching individuals the importance of hope and acceptance. Colleen actively engaged in speaking engagements, created written materials, and developed lifestyle products to spread their message.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Colleen worked at General Reinsurance as an Assistant Vice President. Colleen held this position from 1994 to 2001.

Colleen Mook attended Mount Saint Joseph Academy from 1986 to 1990. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Afterward, they pursued a degree in Marketing at Villanova University from 1990 to 1994. Colleen obtained additional certifications such as the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) from the Insurance Institute of America and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) from the American Institute For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, but specific obtaining dates are unknown.
