Ciaran Gallagher

Senior Architect at Hawkins Brown Architects

Ciaran studied architecture at Queens University Belfast and the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, where he was involved in ‘Visions of Glasgow’ a public exhibition designed to find ways to form ideas of improving ever-evolving cities. Ciaran was also editor of the Mackintosh School Magazine, better known as ‘MacMag’.

Ciaran has experience in Belfast and London, trying his hand at being a self-employed and completing a number of house extensions in both cities before moving permanently to London. He has been involved in a variety of projects, focused recently in all levels of the education sector.

He is a keen cyclist completing treks from London to Copenhagen and the infamous Land’s End to John O’Groats in 2015. When not trekking across the Yorkshire Dales, Ciaran has a passion for collecting and making furniture. He has amassed a small collection through auctions and markets, or constructed in his ‘workshop’, in reality just a shed in his back garden.
