Negar Mihanyar is an Associate Director, Education & Research Sector Lead at Hawkins Brown Architects. Negar has worked in the architectural field for over fifteen years.

Mihanyar started their career as an Architectural Assistant at Benson + Forsyth from August 2006 to December 2007. Negar then moved to KPF in New York from January 2008 to June 2008. After gaining valuable experience in the United States, they returned to the UK and joined Hawkins Brown Architects as an Architect in August 2010.

During their time at Hawkins Brown Architects, Mihanyar has worked on a variety of Education and Research projects. In December 2018, they were appointed as an External Examiner for Oxford Brookes University and they held this role until November 2020. In August 2015, they took a break from their job at Hawkins Brown Architects to work as a Volunteer Architect at Shigeru Ban Architects in Tokyo.

In January 2016, Mihanyar was promoted to Associate and they became the Education & Research Sector Lead in January 2020.

Negar Mihanyar's educational career comprised of an advanced diploma in professional practice from RIBA North West, a dip arch in architecture (part 2) from The Glasgow School of Art, a B.Arch (hons) in architecture (part 1) from The Glasgow School of Art, and an art foundation diploma in three dimensional design from Wimbledon School of Art.
