Peter McLaughlin

Peter is a Partner at Hawkins\Brown, having previously worked at 7N Architects and John McAslan + Partners where he ran the Edinburgh office for seven years.

Peter moved back to Scotland from London in 2004 to deliver the Quartermile mixed-use development for Foster + Partners. He worked on a wide range of higher education, residential and commercial projects for Foster + Partners, Grimshaw and Arup Associates while working in the city.

At 7N he has led the masterplan for the expansion of the University of Glasgow and the delivery of a large residential development on the site of the former Jordanhill College in Glasgow.

In his spare time, Peter likes to cycle, run and hang out with his kids.
