Samantha Synan is an experienced professional with a strong background in animal behavior, hospitality, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as a bartender at Hawks Cay Resort since September 2019, Samantha ensures patron satisfaction while maintaining bar cleanliness. Concurrently, an internship at Dolphin Research Center involves observing and assisting in the training of marine animals, as well as community education on dolphins. Previous experience includes working as an Invasive Species Field Assistant at Rice Creek Field Station, where three species of invasive plants were effectively managed, and as a lifeguard for the Belchertown Recreational Department, providing swim instruction and safety at local water facilities. Samantha holds a Master of Arts in Animal Behavior and Ethology from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
