Sofia Gassne has a diverse work experience starting from 2006 as a Research Assistant at Lund University. Sofia then worked as an Assistant Manager at Carlings from 2009 to 2011. After that, they held roles at The Diner (UK), first as an Assistant General Manager and later as a General Manager. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Good Life Diner as an Operations and Training Manager and later as a Group Launch Manager. Sofia then served as an HR Manager at Barworks Ltd from 2016 to 2018. Sofia then joined Hawksmoor Careers as an HR Manager and later became the Head Of Human Resources. In 2022, they became a Steering Committee Member for the Women's Night Safety Charter at Mayor of London. In 2023, they were voted one of the most influential women in hospitality by CODE Hospitality and also founded Culture Bar.
Sofia Gassne's education history includes obtaining a CIPD Level 7 Advanced Strategic People Management degree from Acacia Learning from 2021 to 2023. Sofia also received a Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management from CIPD Qualifications in 2015 and 2016. Sofia has no recorded start or end years for their education at Lund University, where they studied Social Work, and S:t Petri, Malmo, where they pursued Journalism and social science. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Mental Health First Aider from Kelly's Cause in 2023 and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from CIPD in 2017.
