Julia Montesano

Julia Montesano is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in sports media. Currently serving as Communications Coordinator at Hawthorn Football Club since May 2022, Julia also functions as a Play-by-Play Commentator for both the WNBL and FIBA since late 2022, and previously held the role of Digital and Content Coordinator at the National Basketball League from March 2021 to May 2022. Julia's earlier roles include Media and Communications Officer at the Health and Community Services Union and Media and Communications Coordinator at Carlton Football Club, where responsibilities included AFLW media management. A graduate of La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Media and Communication in Sports Journalism, Julia has a rich history of creating content across various platforms, including work with FOX SPORTS Australia and the Essendon District Football League.
