Nimal Kumara

Nimal Kumara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in production and quality assurance, currently serving as the Divisional Manager for Production at HAYCARB PLC since October 2006. In this role, Nimal oversees activated carbon washing and value-added product processing operations, managing a monthly production of 700 MT of specialized activated carbon and leading a team of over 60 production assistants. Previous roles at HAYCARB PLC include Department Manager and Section Head, where Nimal significantly contributed to quality assurance and operational optimization. Nimal's career also includes a position as Executive in Production and Quality Assurance in Indonesia, where innovative quality control techniques were implemented. In addition to practical experience, Nimal holds an MBA from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
