Giorgio Bovenzi

Giorgio Bovenzi is a partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP. Giorgio has previously worked as a partner at Dentons, where they advised global financial institutions and corporates on matters regarding global credit risk management, cross-border insolvency and Chapter 15, international insolvency, cross-border banking and finance, private international law and conflicts of law. Giorgio also served as a member of the Project Review & Advisory Group developing European Principles and Best Practices for Insolvency Office Holders while at Leiden Law School / INSOL Europe. Bovenzi began their legal career as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of International Trade before working as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates. Giorgio then transitioned to Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP as counsel before joining Haynes and Boone in 2014.

Giorgio Bovenzi earned a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence (MCJ) from New York University School of Law. Giorgio then went on to earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in the field of law.
