Ian Rainey

Ian Rainey is an experienced intellectual property attorney currently serving as Counsel at Haynes and Boone, LLP since April 2021. Prior to this role, Rainey was a Partner and Registered Patent Attorney at Lewis Brisbois from August 2016 to April 2021 and worked as an Associate at Fennemore Craig, P.C. from September 2013 to July 2016. Rainey's legal career began with clerkships, including a position as Law Clerk to the Honorable John D. Dailey at the Colorado Court of Appeals and an internship with the Honorable Charles M. Pratt at the 18th Judicial District. Additional experience includes working as a law clerk for Childern's Voices, LLC and as a summer associate at General Dynamics, NASSCO, and Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Ian Rainey holds a JD from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law and a BA from Bucknell University.
