Aleks Kopec

Aleks Kopec is a Partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP, since April 2023, previously holding the position of Partner and Senior Associate at King & Spalding from November 2014 to April 2023. In the King & Spalding Global Finance practice group, Aleks Kopec specialized in representing lenders and borrowers across various finance transactions, including leveraged finance and acquisition financings. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate and Attorney at Clifford Chance US LLP and King & Spalding LLP, respectively, as well as a Summer Intern at Blum & McCann. Aleks Kopec earned a JD from Duke University School of Law (2004-2007) and holds a BA and BS in History and Psychology from Yale University (2000-2004).
