Michael Depompei

Michael DePompei is a Partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP, since May 2017. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Director in the Deloitte Washington National Tax Passthroughs Group from October 2011 to May 2017, acting as a subject matter expert on U.S. tax matters for Deloitte's global offices. Michael also held the position of Partner at Locke Lord LLP from October 1999 to October 2011, providing federal income tax legal advice to diverse clients, and drafting complex partnership agreements. Michael’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School (1996-1999) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago (1989-1993).
