David Penn

David Penn is the current Head of Global Projects, People & Culture at Hays. David has over 20 years of experience working in Human Resources and has held various positions at different companies.

David started their career in 1998 as Training & Quality Manager at HS Administrative Services Ltd. David then moved to AEGON HS Admin in 2003, where they became the Head of HR & Communications. In 2009, David left AEGON to start their own HR consultancy firm, IMPACT HR Consulting Limited. After seven years, they joined Peregrine HR Limited in January 2017 as an HR Consultant and Managing Director. David remained there until May 2020, when they took on their current role at Hays.

David Penn is a highly experienced HR professional with a proven track record in delivering effective people management strategies and solutions that improve organisational performance.

David Penn's educational career includes a BA (Hons) in English from Sheffield Hallam University, a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration from the University of Chester, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Human Resource Management from The University of Sheffield. David is also certified by the CIPD in Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and LEAN Six Sigma certified Black Belt, and is a Predictive Index Certified Practitioner.

Their manager is Debi Wolfe, Chief People Officer. They are on a team with Alex Gerrard - Head of HR, Nicky Leavy - Global Service Transformation Director, Hays Talent Solutions, and Katarina Brygiewicz - Business Manager HR & Procurement.
