David Sewell

David Sewell has been an audit partner at haysmacintyre for thirty years providing audit and related financial services to schools, faith-based and other charities.

David addresses boards of trustees on financial and risk management and other governance issues and in connection with specialist services such as due diligence assignments, commercial trading, and VAT.

David joined one of haysmacintyre’s predecessor firms in 1988 following the completion of an MBA at Cranfield. Prior to that, he spent two years with Merrill Lynch and four years with Arthur Young, in London and Australia.

David is a freeman of the Tallow Chandlers and as part of their sponsorship, he chairs the audit committee of Greig City Academy. He was previously a governor of an independent school and treasurer of a medical relief charity.
