Christian Jacobsen

Christian Jacobsen has a diverse work experience in software development, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Developer at Springworks International AB since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Tobii AB from May 2019 to January 2022.

Christian also gained experience as a Senior Software Developer at Springworks AB from September 2016 to April 2019, where they were involved in building a platform for connected vehicles and worked with customers such as AT&T, Telia Company, and SwissCom. Their responsibilities included architecture design, feature implementation (mostly backend), and devops.

Before joining Springworks AB, Christian worked at Jayway as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2011 to September 2016, gaining expertise in web development, both front-end and back-end, across various client projects. Christian also worked as a Consultant at SEB and Mobiento in 2013.

Christian's software development career began at ReadSoft in June 2000, where they worked as a Software Engineer until August 2011. Christian was involved in the development of software for automatic document handling, including requirements setting, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Christian worked on all parts of the software, ranging from the core technology to data access, business logic, and user interface layers.

Christian Jacobsen obtained their master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, and software engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in Principles of Reactive Programming and Functional Programming Principles in Scala, both obtained from Coursera. Christian also holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. The dates of completion for the certifications are not provided.
