Alex Harder

Alex Harder has a diverse work experience starting as an IT Intern at the City of Hays, KS. Alex then worked as an SOC Intern at FishNet Security and later as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Fort Hays State University. Moving on to Cerner Corporation, they held roles as a System Engineer and Lead System Engineer, specializing in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes platforms. At Fishtech Group, they served as a DevOps Engineer before becoming a Principal Engineer and overseeing complex engineering projects and cybersecurity initiatives. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at Cyderes (formerly Fishtech Group) and later at Haystax. Throughout their career, Alex has shown a strong commitment to technical leadership, innovation, and staying current with emerging technologies in the cybersecurity field.

Alex Harder earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Networking and Telecommunications from Fort Hays State University in 2013. Following this, Alex pursued a Master of Professional Studies in Cybersecurity at the same university and graduated in 2015. Additionally, Alex obtained certifications as a Professional Cloud Developer from Google in 2023 and as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] in 2019.
