Janine Herschell

Janine Herschell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Janine currently serves as the Head of Delivery at HAYVN, where they are responsible for implementing the Agile way of working for projects and workstreams. Janine'srole also involves strengthening operations by identifying improvements and creating processes across Operations and IT. Additionally, Janine acts as the bridge between the business and IT in understanding business requirements and system solutioning. Before joining HAYVN, they worked at MARBLETECH as the Head of Delivery, focusing on solution delivery management for the Marble products suite. During their tenure, they implemented delivery management structures, including portfolio, program, and project management. Prior to that, Janine spent several years at Absa Group as a Senior Portfolio Manager. In this role, they oversaw the Wealth Investment Management and Stockbrokers portfolio, implemented offshore banking offerings, and managed strategic initiatives and projects. Janine also has experience in project and program management at CIPRO and SITA. Overall, they bring extensive experience in delivery management, business and IT collaboration, and process improvement to their current position.

Janine Herschell attended Vaal High from 1984 to 1988, where they did not receive a degree or study in any specific field. In 2011, they enrolled in the Management Development Programme at GIBS, completing it in 2012. In the same year, they also obtained the APMG MsP certification from Snaptech in Program Management. In 2013, they attended SnapTech for the Managing Successful Programmes course, specializing in Programme Management. Janine furthered their education in 2014 at Knowledge Hut, obtaining a degree in Agile & Scrum for Project Management. Janine also earned a Certification in Portfolio Management from SnapTech in the same year.
