Peter Risley

Peter Risley has a extensive work experience in the field of purchasing and supply chain management. Peter is currently working as the UK Head of Purchasing at Hayward Tyler, where they lead a team of six buyers and is responsible for establishing a streamlined supply chain, identifying new suppliers, setting up long-term agreements, and achieving cost savings. Prior to their current role, they served as the Group Purchasing Director at Harlow Group Ltd, managing three teams of buyers and implementing continuous improvement in the supply chain. Peter has also worked as a Supply Chain Manager at Kleerex Retail Services, where they oversaw all aspects of purchasing and collaborated with large supermarket chains. In addition, Peter has experience in the manufacturing industry, having served as a Manufacturing Director and Purchasing Manager at Harlow Group Ltd, as well as a Cad Cam Programmer at Ware Sheet Metal, where they enhanced their shop floor skills and implemented new software for the MRP system.

Peter Risley attended Trinity School from 1978 to 1986, where they studied English, Maths, Metalwork, and Art. Peter later attended the Institute of Manufacturing Cambridge from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on Supply Chain, although they did not obtain a degree.
