Tom Parent

Tom Parent is Hayward Tyler’s Vice President of Human Resources and Information Technology. He develops and implements global strategies in both HR and IT, and oversees those teams across all facilities.

Tom joined Hayward Tyler’s leadership team in 2012, becoming the company’s first HR Manager in the US. His duties have since grown to include IT, as well as overseeing the company’s priorities related to health, safety, and the environment. He comes with many years of experience in business and HR, with significant skills in human relations, conflict resolution, training, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree from Colorado State University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Outside of Hayward Tyler, Tom has served as President and Board Chair of the Vermont Parent Information Center, a non-profit helping special needs students gain full access to educational opportunities.
