John Boate

John Boate has over a decade of experience in financial management and operations, currently serving as the Assistant General Manager/COO and Chief Financial Officer at Haywood Electric Membership since June 2013. Prior to this role, John worked at FLS Energy in various capacities, including Financial Reporting Supervisor and Senior Accountant, from October 2009 to May 2013. Earlier experience includes a position as Construction Administrator at McGill Associates from November 2007 to March 2009. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Western Carolina University.
