Don Wong has over 20 years of experience in investment banking. Don started their career as a Listings Analyst at the Vancouver Stock Exchange in 1993 and worked there until 1996. Don then joined Canaccord Genuity- Global Capital Markets in 2002 as a Vice President in Investment Banking and remained there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Haywood Securities Inc. as a Vice President in Investment Banking with a focus on emerging growth opportunities in sustainability, technology, and junior industrial sectors, including debt and equity underwriting, mergers & acquisitions, and public listings.
Don Wong received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of British Columbia in 1989. Don also obtained certifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder from the CFA Institute and as a Registered Investment Banking Representative (Series 79) under FINRA Rule 1220(b)(5) Limited Representative-Investment Banking.
