Peter Virvilis

Peter Virvilis has a strong background in finance and operations. Peter started their career at Expo 86 Corporation as an Assistant Treasurer from 1985 to 1987. Peter then joined Canaccord Financial in 1987 and held the positions of EVP Operations and Treasurer until 2016. In 1998, they became a member of the Board of Directors at The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited, serving until 2010. In 2017, they joined Haywood Securities Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations. Additionally, in the same year, they became a member of the Board of Directors at Canadian Investor Protection Fund (CIPF).

Peter Virvilis attended The University of British Columbia from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree. Peter'sfield of study was Accounting.
