Mary Casillas

Mary Casillas has a strong background in healthcare leadership, with their most recent position being as the Interim CEO and Chief Operating Officer at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Dignity Health as the Performance Excellence Director and then as the Director of Transformational Care from 2010 to 2012. Mary also held the role of Director of Imaging Services at both CHW from 2007 to 2011 and St. Louise Regional Hospital from 1999 to 2007. Their healthcare career began at South Valley Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist from 1995 to 1999.

Mary Casillas has a diverse education history. Mary obtained their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix, graduating in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Management from the same university, graduating in 2006. In 1995, Mary Casillas obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Radiology from Cabrillo College. Lastly, they completed their high school education at San Benito High School from 1979 to 1983. In addition to their formal education, Mary Casillas obtained the Dignity Health LEAN Black Belt certification in September 2013.
