James Cleveland

James Cleveland serves as the Chief People Officer at Hazel Health since March 2023. Previously, James held the title of Head of People & Culture at Landed, where work was focused on enabling professionals to achieve homeownership. Prior roles include Vice President of People at Guild Education, where integration strategies were executed following an acquisition, and Chief People Officer at Entangled Group, where a People Department was founded. James has also served as CEO of Education Outside, COO at Reading Partners and College Track, and COO at Aspire Public Schools. James' career showcases extensive leadership in human resources and organizational strategy across various sectors, including education and nonprofit organizations. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and additional training from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
