Prior to their current role, Stephanie served as the Executive Director of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment within the same district. Stephanie holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, a Master of Education in Reading from Oakland University, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Michigan.

Located in Hazel Park, Michigan, the Hazel Park School District serves more than 2,200 students in our pre-Kindergarten through 26 years throughout 14 facilities -- an early childhood center, 3 elementary schools, one middle school, and one comprehensive high school, as well as an all levels alternative school, four virtual programs and two Center Schools for Disabilities. Hazel Park School District is one of 11 Promise Zone Schools in the state of Michigan which offers resident graduates a tuition-free path to an associate's degree. With more than 250 staff and 100 annual volunteers, we are bringing our mission to life. Our mission is to inspire and empower all students by preparing them for the future.
