Ceren Buyukcapar Monserrate

Ceren Buyukcapar Monserrate has a diverse range of work experience. Ceren started their career as an intern at Baker Tilly in 2005. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Experienced Tax Senior at Deloitte, where they were responsible for tax planning, supervision of a team, and involvement in due diligence projects. Ceren then progressed to the role of Tax Supervisor at Deloitte from 2010 to 2012, where their responsibilities included developing tax audit plans, providing daily supervision to a team of auditors, and assisting in solving taxation-related issues. Ceren then joined Genworth Financial as the Country Financial Controller from 2012 to 2013. Since 2014, they have been working at Hazelcast, initially as an Accounting Manager and later as a Controller, where they are responsible for managing the corporate accounting operation, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and driving the monthly consolidation process.

Ceren Buyukcapar Monserrate pursued their education in a chronological order. Ceren attended Sakip Sabanci High School from 1996 to 2000. After completing high school, they enrolled at Marmara University for their Bachelor's degree in Public Finance, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Financial Economics at Marmara University from 2004 to 2007. Later, in 2013, Ceren attended California State University - East Bay, where they earned a Master's Degree in Accountancy with a specialization in Master of Science Accountancy (MSA). Ceren finished this program in 2014 with a commendable GPA of 3.7/4.00.
