Hector Biaggi M.D.

Hector Biaggi MD serves as the Medical Director at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation since January 2022. Previously, Hector held the position of Staff Psychiatrist at Elite DNA Therapy Services from October 2021 to October 2022. Hector was a member of the Board of Directors for the American Society of Addiction Medicine from February 2016 to May 2021 and served as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at St. Joseph's Addiction Treatment & Recovery Centers from March 2017 to March 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Medical Director at Crouse Health from September 2009 to March 2017. Hector completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1988 to 1990 and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Ponce School of Medicine between 1981 and 1985, with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
