Jeanalee Schlabaugh

Jeanalee Peyton is an accomplished project engineer currently employed at Hazen Research, Inc. since September 2018, where responsibilities include acting as a safety coordinator and interim safety and health manager. Jeanalee has gained valuable technical skills through experience as an intern and technician, including operation of machinery for mineral processing and pilot plant operations. Previous roles include peer mentor and lead liaison at Colorado School of Mines, where duties involved supporting new students and coordinating orientation programs. Additional experience includes working as a pet care specialist at PetSmart and an intern at Heuer Labs LLC, along with coaching gymnastics for young children. Jeanalee holds a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, completed in May 2022, and graduated from Standley Lake High School in 2016.
