Vignesh Pethuraja

Vignesh Pethuraja has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Conduent where they tested and maintained automated fare collection systems. In 2012, they pursued a Global MBA at Hult International Business School, gaining skills in areas such as finance, marketing, and consulting. Vignesh then joined Dubai Trade as an Innovation Consultant, developing frameworks and strategies for driving change. Vignesh also worked at Innovation 360 as an Innovation Evangelist and Business Innovation/Development professional, where they developed new consulting products based on Lean Startup Methodology. Additionally, they served as the Head of Innovation - Emerging Technologies at VIKTOR KOENIG UK LIMITED. In 2017, Vignesh became a participant in the Dubai Future Accelerators program, specifically working on a biometrics on blockchain project. Vignesh later joined Wipro Limited as a Blockchain Advisor, responsible for blockchain evangelization, formulating innovative solutions, and business development. In 2021, Vignesh occupied roles at Hedera and Urbango as the Director of Business Development for South Asia and the Middle East. Currently, they are the Director of Business - Middle East & South Asia at HBAR Foundation, a grant fund supporting the Hedera Web3 Ecosystem. In this role, Vignesh nurtures the ecosystem by providing grants and technology enablement to startups, creators, enterprises, and government organizations.

Vignesh Pethuraja's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Innovation & Strategy from Hult International Business School, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their B.Tech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli from 2002 to 2006.
