Phil Lyons Msc Mraes

Phil Lyons MSc MRAeS has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Phil served as the Chief Pilot and Aviation Department Manager for HBK Contracting Company W.L.L, where they were responsible for flight planning, travel coordination, and safe conduct of flights. Prior to this, they worked as a Captain for the same company, operating mainly in the Middle East and Europe.

In addition, Phil served as a Flight Instructor for the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training) for over a decade. Phil also worked as a Training Captain at European Business Jets Plc and as a Captain at Air Medical Ltd.

Outside of the aviation industry, Phil also had experience running their own business as the Business Proprietor of Lyons Cars. Furthermore, they worked as a Fleet Manager at Rangemile Ltd and as an Aerial Survey Pilot at Flight Images LLP.

Phil Lyons MSc MRAeS attended several institutions and obtained various certifications throughout their education and career.

From 1988 to 1996, Phil studied at Blessed George Napier Secondary Comprehensive & Sixth Form, where they completed their GCSEs and A Levels.

In 2001 and 2002, Phil attended the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, where they obtained an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) in the field of Air Transportation.

Later on, from 2012 to 2018, Phil pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Air Transport Management at City, University of London.

In terms of additional certifications, Phil received the following:

- In November 2017, they obtained an ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certification for Bombardier Global Vision (BBD-700), Citation Sovereign (CE-680), Citation Jet (CE-525S), and Airplane Single & Multi Engine Land from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

- In November 2017, they also obtained a CPL (Commercial Pilot License) for Single Engine Sea from the FAA.

- In April 2019, Phil obtained an ATPL for Bombardier Global Vision (BD700) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

- In June 2020, they obtained another ATPL for Bombardier Global Vision (BD700) from the Department of Civil Aviation of Aruba.

- In February 2021, Phil received a CPL for Multi Engine Sea from the FAA.

- In May 2018, they obtained a UAS Remote Pilot certification from the FAA.

- Lastly, in November 2021, they obtained an Airline Transport Pilot License from the Civil Aviation Authority.
