Tobie Schroeder

Tobie Schroeder, GISP, has over fifteen years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related fields, currently serving as GIS Lead at HBK Engineering, LLC since February 2015, providing design support and leading training initiatives. Previous roles include Senior GIS Technician at HBK Engineering, where contributions involved updating spatial analyses for utilities, and GIS Technician at Rand McNally, focusing on database editing and research for Points of Interest using ArcGIS. Early career experience includes internships at NAVTEQ, Institute for Technology Development, and US Geological Survey, in roles ranging from traffic data collection to agricultural research and hydrological support. Tobie holds a degree in Geography and Music from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
