Lloyd Thompson, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Data, Insights, and Analytics at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær, overseeing the Business Intelligence team since January 2021 after a rapid promotion from Business Intelligence Project Manager. Prior experience includes Data and Insight Manager at Thames Water, where Lloyd led the development of a fully automated reporting suite, and a PhD researcher at Cranfield University, focusing on wastewater treatment risks. Additionally, Lloyd has a background as an Area Manager at Aldi UK & Ireland, showcasing a strong foundation in leadership and management. Academic credentials include a PhD in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from Cranfield University and an Msci in Geoscience from Durham University.
