Malene Prehn

Malene Prehn is a seasoned professional in the fields of risk management, internal audit, and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Risk, Control and Internal Audit at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær since September 2025. In addition to this role, Malene is the Chairperson of the Board at Humlebæk Boligselskab and a member of the Board of Directors at Domea.dk. Malene's previous positions include Nordic Head of Internal Audit at BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Group Head of Internal Control during a secondment at Spectris, where Malene oversaw a group-wide project to enhance the internal controls framework. Prior experience includes roles as Risk & Compliance Manager at LEO Pharma, Group Auditor at VELUX, and an intern auditor at Arbejdernes Landsbank. Malene holds a Master's degree in Auditing and an HD in Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, along with a background in mathematics from Espergærde Gymnasium.
