Wai Leung (William) Ma is a seasoned software quality assurance professional currently serving as the Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær since October 2023. Previously, Ma worked as a Software Quality Engineer at GeneDx from May 2019 to October 2023, focusing on creating automated test frameworks for clinical products using BDD and CI/CD methodologies. A significant portion of Ma's career was spent at Thomson Reuters (now Refinitiv) from 1997 to 2018, progressing through various roles, including QA Manager and Lead QA Engineer, where responsibilities included directing teams, designing test strategies for APIs, and migrating manual testing to automation. Ma holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with a Computer Engineering option from Stony Brook University.
